Facts

Shaolin Kung Fu refers to a collection of Chinese martial arts that claim affiliation with the Shaolin Monastery (1 mark)
The “Shào” from Shaolin refers to Mount Shaoshi where the Monastery is situated (1 mark) 
The “lin” means forest (1 mark)
According to Chinese legend a Buddhist monk called Bodhidharma began the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolin Kung Fu (3 marks)
This form is based upon the two different styles; 'Drunken Boxing' and 'Praying Mantis Boxing' (2 marks)
